For Immediate Release:Mary Kay Cosmetics holds their annual awards ceremonies in Dallas, TX. every year. This two week event draws women from around the world. Many hundreds will receive awards, cash, and or a Pink Cadillac. To document this event is a very compelling task and requires a very tedious schedule. For the third consecutive year Jowdy Photography of San Antonio, TX. was chosen to document and photograph all of the awards recipients and Special Performances held at the Dallas Convention Center. Jowdy Photography once again approached Sector Development to assist them in providing a web enabled application to make this all possible. Sector Development is well known for its unique approach in developing web based relational database management systems (RDMS). Sector Development built a special mini web site www.jowdy.com/marykay using a MySQL database and PHP to store all of the necessary information and make it transparent to the Mary Kay awards recipients. The secure administrative interface for the Jowdy Photography employees was designed so that they could manage all content including 21,000 online photos with the click of a mouse.
